Description:
Mildred Elley, a private two-year college in the County of Albany, with a branch campus in Pittsfield, Mass., is seeking adjunct faculty to teach in its Department of Medical Studies for its new Albany, NY campus.
Classes Include:
- Nutrition
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Medical Terminology
- Pharmacology
Clinical Medical Instructors needed. Candidates will facilitate laboratory activities, including but not limited to, patient intake, phlebotomy, and vital signs, for medical assisting students.
Requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in field and a minimum of 18 credits in Biology or Nutrition, Master’s degree is strongly preferred and professional credentials (RN) are highly desirable. Professional certifications, coursework in the field, documented work experience in the field, and higher education teaching experience are highly desirable. Alternative course-specific faculty requirements are noted above by the course descriptions.
The ideal candidate must be friendly, customer-service oriented, flexible and conscientious individual. Background check required.
