Our A.O.S. Degree programs include:
Medical Assistant Associate in Occupational Studies: By learning administrative and clinical skills in the Medical Assistant Albany A.O.S. degree program, our 20-month curriculum prepares students for a potential career in healthcare, working alongside doctors and nurses.
Massage Therapy Associate in Occupational Studies: The Massage Therapy A.O.S. degree program is designed to teach you techniques that focus on natural healing methods to help patients with chronic pain or stress. You will have the opportunity to train with seasoned professors to sharpen your skills through hands-on experience in massage sessions.
Our Certificate programs include:
Practical Nursing (PN) Certificate: The LPN Albany classes in the Practical Nurse Certificate program help students acquire the educational foundation in preparation for the NCLEX-PN examination in as little as 16 months. Successfully completing your LPN classes could allow you to work under the direction of registered nurses and doctors, providing basic medical care to patients.
Clinical Medical Assistant Certificate: The Clinical Medical Assistant Certificate program trains students in a variety of clinical skills including patient care, phlebotomy, EKGs, and electronic medical records knowledge, to name a few.
Massage Therapy Certificate: The experienced and licensed professors in the Massage Therapy Certificate program prepare students to qualify for the New York State licensing examination for Massage Therapy, with fundamental classroom lessons and hands-on learning in a clinic environment.

Nurse Aide Training Certificate Program
This 5-week program prepares students for the Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification exam necessary to become a CNA in New York State.
This 105-hour Professional Development Course provides hybrid learning with both online classroom time and on-site clinical training, preparing students for the National Healthcare Association (NHA) Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) examination*
*This course is not included within the institution’s grant of accreditation for ABHES. The NHA has indicated that two courses offered by the institution meet the published testing plan and clinical hour requirements. High School Diploma or Equivalency required.

Mildred Elley students can purchase a CDTA Unlimited Bus Ride Pass at a reduced cost for a convenient commute to class.

Amsterdam, NY – NEW Extension Site!
Mildred Elley is happy to announce that we will be offering daytime classes for the Clinical Medical Assistant Certificate or Practical Nurse Certificate (LPN) program in a new Amsterdam location, beginning in 2025. Those who live west of Albany can have the convenience of beginning their program at our Amsterdam site before finishing at the Albany campus. *Mildred Elley operates an extension site conveniently located in Amsterdam, NY. Students cannot complete an entire degree at an extension site and must take a number of courses at the Albany campus. Administrative and academic services, such as academic advisement, financial aid, tutoring, library, and career services resources, are available remotely to students from the Albany campus.
